License terms
When you buy a plan, a kit, or a template from Association Playbook, you are buying a license to use it, not the content itself. These terms explain what that license allows. By checking the box at checkout, you agree to them.
1. Who owns it
Kelly Dando Consulting owns all Plays, playbooks, templates, builders, guides, and other materials on this site, and every copy of them. Nothing in a purchase transfers ownership to you. All rights not granted here are reserved.
2. Who can use it
- Individual plan: one person. The license is for you alone and cannot be shared.
- Association plan: one organization, used by the people who hold its seats (up to 10).
- Kits and templates bought on their own: one organization, or one person if you bought for yourself.
The license covers internal use only: running your own association, board, chapter, committee, or events.
3. What you may do
- Fill in, edit, and customize templates for your own organization and its events.
- Print and share your completed documents inside your organization, such as with your board, committee, or volunteers.
- Keep and use downloaded templates you received while your license was active, for your own organization.
4. What you may not do
- Sell, resell, rent, sublicense, or give away any template, kit, Play, or other material, edited or not.
- Upload any of it to a template marketplace, file-sharing site, course, or public website.
- Share files or sign-in access with people outside the organization or person the license covers.
- Remove or change the copyright notice or the "Licensed to" line in any file.
- Use the materials to build a competing product or service.
5. Ending the license
This license ends automatically if you break these terms. When it ends, you must stop using the materials and delete every copy. A subscription's access to the site also ends when the subscription ends.
6. Not professional advice
The materials are general guidance for running associations. They are not legal, tax, or accounting advice. Check requirements for your organization and state with qualified advisors. The materials are provided as is, without warranty.
